I haven't logged into this thing in ages.  I apologize to anyone who left nice comments on my work or tagged them as favourites; I'm generally pretty flaky about replies anyway, but in this case I just haven't been around.  I appreciate that a few people are still clicking through despite the cobwebs!  I also have a Tumblr page that I shall try to remember to also update (username Victorially).

My focus lately has been a lot more on sewing than on drawing, and hopefully I'll have something to show for it.  
I've started apprenticing with Manuge Et Toi [link] , a prominent local burlesque costume designer; and the inspiration is flowing!  I have a few corsets done and loads more in mind.   Though I really need to revive the drawing this month as submission deadlines are coming up for TCAF and SDCCI and I am determined to have a comic worth showing them.  So ideally I'll have at least some thumbnails and character sketches from that project to share, and soon.

I toyed with the idea of scrapping this account altogether and starting a new one - I mean, I haven't even rung any REAL bass in years! - but really, why bother?  I can have other websites with my proper business name attached, and people can find them from here.  Besides, I'm still pretty happy with most of the art that I've posted here over the years and certainly can't be bothered to export all of it.  Besides, that's part of DeviantArt's charm; seeing someone's old crappy stuff under their old crappy username (in some cases) regardless of how far they take it, right?  Right?


I don't even know what I'm saying anymore.
